Under the responsibility of the Accueil Bonneau Foundation's Management, the Marketing and Public Relations Advisor actively contributes to the organization's visibility, mission, and philanthropic campaigns. As an expert in communication, philanthropic market strategy, and press relations, he/she plans, develops, executes, and analyzes initiatives that strengthen Accueil Bonneau's reputation and mobilize its target audiences.
He/She plays a key role in the proactive management of media relations, the creation of media opportunities, and the preparation of the management for public interventions. He/She collaborates closely with the Foundation's team and Accueil Bonneau's internal departments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Marketing, Communication, and Visibility Strategy – 30 %
- Develop, with the Foundation's management, global communication, visibility, and public positioning strategies;
- Develop public relations strategies integrated into philanthropic campaigns and organizational priorities;
- Annually produce the internal and external communication plan in collaboration with Accueil Bonneau's departments;
- Develop and enrich Accueil Bonneau's brand image and employer brand;
- Propose innovative ideas to increase the reach of campaigns, public messages, and fundraising initiatives;
- Contribute to Accueil Bonneau's strategic positioning on issues such as homelessness, social cohabitation, poverty, and housing.
- Public Relations and Public Affairs – 30 %
- Develop and execute press relations strategies to support campaigns, public speeches, special projects, and societal issues related to the mission;
- Build and expand the network of contacts with journalists, columnists, specialized media, and relevant influencers;
- Create and maintain up-to-date press lists, media monitoring, and coverage reports;
- Write and distribute press releases, official statements, press kits, and key messages;
- Prepare the general management and spokespeople: creation of Q&A, thematic sheets, guidelines, scripts for interviews or panels;
- Coordinate interviews between the media and Accueil Bonneau's management;
- Organize press conferences, media visits, or reporting opportunities;
- Act as a spokesperson, if needed, and respond to verbal and written media requests;
- Create strategic media opportunities related to annual campaigns, structuring projects, and the 150th anniversary priorities.
- Coordination, Production, and Implementation of Communications – 30 %
- Ensure the deployment of the external and internal communication plan;
- Create, plan, and implement communication calendars for fundraising campaigns and fundraising initiatives;
- Manage and coordinate advertising projects (videos, photos, audios) in collaboration with the Communication and Marketing Officer;
- Participate in the writing, reviewing, and distribution of communications (articles, newsletters, mailings, email advertising, web content, etc.);
- Design and coordinate the production of the annual activity report;
- Collaborate on the writing of brochures, newsletters, and documents for donors and partners;
- Contribute to the Foundation's events and coordinate the associated communication aspects;
- Organize at least two webinars per year in connection with campaigns to individuals;
- Manage collaborative projects with agencies, suppliers, and external partners.
- Analysis, Performance Measurement, and Strategic Watch – 10 %
- Establish the objectives and performance indicators of marketing, communication, and public relations campaigns;
- Produce dashboards, measure results, and propose improvement tracks monthly;
- Lead post-campaign analyses (marketing, advertising, press relations);
- Evaluate internal communication tools and make recommendations;
- Conduct a watch on trends in philanthropy, social media, public relations, and graphic design;
- Conduct surveys or polls to better understand public and donor perceptions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Hold a bachelor's degree in communication, management, or a related discipline;
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience;
- Proficiency in design software (Adobe CC, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Premiere);
- Knowledge of management and analysis tools such as Business Manager and Google Analytics;
- Experience in community management and content creation;
- Bilingualism required (French/English);
- Good knowledge of major computer tools and software such as Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Wordpress, CRM, etc.;
- Experience within non-profit organizations, an asset;
- Excellent writing and communication skills;
- Proactivity, dynamism, sense of priorities and organization;
- Developed strategic thinking;
- Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously and meet deadlines;
- Excellent budget and supplier management;
- Ease of working in a team;
- Concern for detail and quality.
