Reporting to the store manager, the assistant store manager supports the manager in the daily management of the team. They ensure the quality of customer service, achievement of sales targets, and stock management. They train, motivate, and support employees and organize the shelves. They take on management responsibilities in the manager's absence, ensuring the smooth operation of the store.

Your Mission at Mondou

  • Support the manager in the daily management of the store;
  • Be a present leader on the floor: mobilize the team, encourage initiative, and contribute to the development of skills;
  • Actively participate in employee training: sales techniques, product knowledge, and application of operational standards;
  • Contribute to the analysis and execution of strategies to achieve performance objectives and ensure store growth;
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support initiatives to build and develop the customer base;
  • Ensure store management in the manager's absence and oversee the smooth operation of the store.

Desired Profile

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in retail, management, or the animal industry;
  • Natural leader and positive, you enjoy working in a team and building strong relationships with clients and colleagues;
  • Customer and results-oriented, with experience in customer service;
  • Organized, versatile, and comfortable with multiple priorities, you adapt well to change and motivate others to do the same;
  • Comfortable with physical tasks, including lifting heavy loads;
  • Effective communicator in French (English, an asset).
