Job Objective
The Production Technical Services Project Manager is an expert in the equipment under their responsibility. They represent the technical services in the design of improvement solutions and in the installation of new equipment. They ensure the availability, performance, and durability of the operational unit's assets by identifying risks, issues, and opportunities. In case of equipment failure, they conduct root cause investigations, evaluate possible solutions, and are responsible for their implementation. They ensure equipment reliability through their analyses, recommendations, prioritization, and implementation of technical solutions.
Main Responsibilities
- Technical Solutions Development:
- In collaboration with production, engineering, LMSAT, and quality assurance, develop technical solutions compliant with standards, requirements, and legislation (e.g., GMP, ASME BPE, low-pressure equipment, etc.).
- Conduct root cause investigations in case of equipment failure.
- Evaluate and implement technical solutions in collaboration with production, engineering, LMSAT, and quality assurance.
- Assist the Engineering Project Manager in the installation of new equipment, such as developing technical documentation (e.g., maintenance plan, lockout tagout sheet, etc.).
- Technical Expertise:
- Act as an expert in their field of competence in various projects (implementation, modification, removal, audits, etc.), while staying up-to-date with new technologies.
- Identify, document, and inform about quality, EHS, or performance issues related to the equipment under their responsibility.
- Ensure the improvement of equipment and system reliability to guarantee continuous production and optimize company performance. These tasks include tracking equipment performance, technological monitoring, collaborating on problem investigations, optimizing preventive and predictive maintenance plans, analyzing failures, implementing improvement projects, and training teams on reliability best practices.
- Equipment Analysis: Demonstrate a deep understanding of equipment, analyze their breakdown histories, and recommend improvement actions.
- Performance Indicators: Develop and track performance indicators to proactively monitor the health status of equipment.
- Quality: Participate in the writing and updating of sector procedures, identify and document quality issues, and participate in investigations in case of deviations or CAPA.
- Audits and Inspections: Prepare and execute action plans related to audits and inspections.
- Health and Safety: Respect health, safety, and environmental procedures, participate in risk analyses, and report risky situations.
- Communication: Maintain information exchange with other GSK sites and communicate effectively both in writing and orally.
- Project Management:
Supervise work within the framework of projects and respect deadlines.
Supervise maintenance tasks related to housekeeping and infrastructure.
Supplier Supervision: Represent technical services during supplier selection and supervise their work while respecting quality and safety standards.
- Compliance with Requirements:
- Plan activities and allocate necessary resources to ensure the respect of established deadlines and budgets.
- Track and adjust priorities based on project objectives while respecting deadlines and budget constraints.
- Collaborate actively with stakeholders to anticipate obstacles and minimize delays or budget overruns.

- Experience in project management, validation, engineering, and diagnostics.
- Ability to read, analyze, write, and interpret scientific or technical documentation.
