• Your Responsibilities as an Assistant Manager for Fresh Produce:
• Assist the manager in planning and coordinating department activities to achieve sales and profitability goals set by the director, while respecting the applicable collective agreement;
• Assist the manager in managing employees;
• Substitute for the manager when they are absent;
• Must be able to place orders and purchases for the department. Verify the compliance of invoices with delivery notes and ensure the receipt of goods;
• Ensure that the store is ready to receive customers in terms of the quantity of merchandise, the presentation of fresh produce displays, and stock rotation;
• Ensure the business readiness of the department;
• Ensure that product labeling complies with store standards, the chief office's price list, and the optical scanner price, and ensure that price cards comply with the circular;
• Maintain the freshness of department products at all times;
• Ensure compliance with the market placement of planograms;
• Must be able to create work schedules for employees;
• Ensure compliance with company policies (receiving, safety, etc.) and hygiene, cleanliness, health, and safety standards;
• Participate in the welcoming, training, and evaluation of employees.

Requirements

• Sec V or equivalent;
• 3 years of experience in fresh produce.
