Kitchen Assistant

About the Position

Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

We are looking for a kitchen assistant to join our team at a transition house in Hochelaga Maisonneuve. Good humor and punctuality are the key qualities we are looking for, perfect for someone looking to increase their income or for a retired person; relaxed environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the preparation of ingredients needed for meals
• Assist the chef in cooking and plating dishes
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the workspace
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards
• Manage ingredient stock and report supply needs
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth and efficient service

Desired Profile

• Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment
• Knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
• Teamwork and good communication skills
• Sharp sense of hygiene and adherence to food safety standards
