Counter Assistant

We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and motivated team member to join our tailoring and dry cleaning business.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with excellent customer service.
• Take measurements and perform clothing fittings.
• Tag and organize incoming dry cleaning and alteration orders.
• Open and close the store.
• Cut fabrics and complete small sewing and alteration jobs.
• Assist with general sewing tasks (knowledge of sewing is required).
• Keep the store clean and organized, including light cleaning duties twice a week.
• Provide counter support and help with daily store operations.

Qualifications

• Basic sewing and alteration experience required.
• Comfortable working directly with customers.
• Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in tailoring, alterations, or dry cleaning is an asset but not required.
• Pay: $16.60-$18.00 per hour
