Description

The person holding this position is responsible for actively participating in the development of information systems, maintenance, operational processing, information security, and continuous improvement of their practices. The holder will also be the administrator of the Salesforce CRM.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop, optimize, and interconnect software and gateways between our various computer programs, and ensure their maintenance;
  • Take responsibility for updating existing computer programs (e.g., Salesforce) by applying the required configurations;
  • Develop test scenarios and test software before implementing changes in production;
  • Maintain application environments and coordinate changes affecting the overall structure of our information systems;
  • Manage access security and ensure data integrity in software applications;
  • Collaborate on feasibility studies and system development projects to identify user needs and existing technical constraints, and communicate solutions;
  • Validate and document business rules, and follow up on deliverables;
  • Participate in meetings with various partners to ensure the proper technical alignment of our systems;
  • Write technical documentation related to existing and future software programming, and prepare status reports and other required manuals.

Required Qualifications

  • Hold a university degree in computer science or a relevant discipline;
  • Possess one to two years of relevant experience with SQL Server and Reporting Services (SSRS);
  • Required Salesforce certifications: Certified Nonprofit Success Pack Consultant, Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform APP Builder, and Salesforce Certified Platform Developer;
  • Master the tools of the Office 365 suite – Excellent skills with advanced Excel functions;
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and proficiency in French;
  • Demonstrate project coordination skills;
  • Have good adaptability, organization, and work prioritization skills;
  • Be able to work under pressure;
  • Have a sense of rigor and attention to detail;
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills;
  • Have a good team spirit;
  • Show autonomy, creativity, and flexibility;
  • Be able to identify problems and find solutions.

Assets

  • Mastery of the APEX, VBA, and SQL languages – Knowledge of Conga, Zoom Contact Center, Stripe, Tableau Software, Dialog Insight, Quickbooks, etc., is an asset;
  • Knowledge of the academic and philanthropic environment is an asset;
  • English is an asset.

Employment Conditions

  • Regular unionized position that may lead to permanent employment
  • Work language: French
  • Annual remuneration: $73,144 to $97,075 (no performance-based remuneration or bonus or paid overtime)
