Computer Science Internship (Quebec)

This internship is offered exclusively in Quebec and requires an on-site presence.

• School internship as part of a DEP, AEC, or DEC in computer support;
• Respond to technical support requests from users;
• Handle incidents and office requests from the IT service center;
• Provide remote support (answer calls, process service tickets, diagnose incidents);
• Use a ticketing system to process, prioritize, assign, and track requests;
• Ensure timely processing of tickets;
• Document incidents and solutions rigorously and structured;
• Resolve issues using remote control software;
• Process assigned tickets from receipt to closure;
• Communicate professionally, both orally and in writing, with users;
• Propose solutions tailored to the needs of internal clients.

Qualifications

• Seeking a final-year internship as part of a DEP, AEC, or DEC in computer support;
• Excellent mastery of Windows 7, 8, and 10 operating systems;
• Good knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, VPN, TCP/IP, and Microsoft 365 suite;
• Experience with ticketing systems (Remedy, HPSM, Maximo, C3, or equivalents);
• Basic knowledge of virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V);
• Full-time availability, during the day, Monday to Friday;
• Strong learning and adaptation capacity;
• Excellent customer service skills;
• Team spirit, autonomy, motivation, and initiative;
• Intermediate English (spoken and written). The person holding this position will need to regularly communicate with our English-speaking employees and external partners outside Quebec.
