Mission
As a team leader, you ensure the proper management of all store operations. You also assist the store director and his deputy in various store management tasks when required.
Main Responsibilities
Customer Service - 50%
- Set an example by welcoming each customer, guiding them in their choices by listening to them, informing them, advising them, interacting with children, defining their needs, highlighting the benefits of the products, and concluding the sale.
- Loyalize the customer base by offering the VIP Card, S@H, and any other relevant service.
- In the absence of the Director or his deputy, ensure that all customer complaints/requests are handled in the best possible way and that an impeccable customer service is provided by all sales associates.
- In the absence of the Director or the Deputy Director, ensure that new team members are trained in customer service rules.
- Team Management - 20%
- Assist the Director and his Deputy in managing schedules, team members' leave, and any other administrative activity related to personnel management.
- Effectively supervise sales associates and manage any potential issues appropriately and in compliance with LEGO policies and procedures, with the support of the Director and/or his deputy.
- As needed, participate in the recruitment process for new sales associates.
- Store Procedures - 20%
- Order office supplies in accordance with directives and operating budgets.
- Ensure that sales associates are trained in the use of cash registers.
- Ensure that money handling procedures are followed by all sales associates.
- Ensure that all hygiene and safety policies and practices are followed and report any anomalies or risks.

- Maximize profitable sales by regularly reviewing sales and margin information.
- Help ensure that appropriate and effective space management techniques are used.
- Ensure that the store's graphic system (including prices) is maintained effectively, with an emphasis on customer service and maximizing profitable sales.
- Ensure that all displays are always restocked.
- Evaluate and communicate on competitors' visual merchandising techniques, identifying opportunities to further develop our business.
- Train Sales Associates on visual merchandising techniques in accordance with LEGO® brand guidelines.
- Motivate and develop a high-performing team by sharing the LEGO® brand, vision, and values.
- Offer inspiring retail sales experiences based on LEGO® brand values

- Experience in leadership and/or management in a retail store environment.
- Employee training.
- Cash handling and stock/sales verification.
- Automated point-of-sale systems.
- Merchandise maintenance and visual merchandising.
- Physical specifications: Constant movement, talking, listening, reaching, grasping, and standing for at least two consecutive hours. May occasionally involve bending, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders. Vision capabilities include near vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Implies lifting at least 30 pounds.
- Must speak Canadian French.
- You must provide availability to work up to 30 hours per week (this does not mean you will be scheduled for 30 hours, but you must be available for 30 hours).

The hourly wage for the position ranges from 25.15 - 26.15 CAD with a discretionary bonus targeting 5% and potentially reaching a maximum of 10%. This range is based on the expected responsibilities, market references, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to previous experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other legally permitted considerations. The complete details of the compensation, including benefits, will be communicated during the job offer finalization.

Compensation
The starting salary for this position is $25.15. A bonus scheme with an annual target bonus of 5% of the base salary is in place for this position, subject to contractual terms as well as a standard benefit package.
