Quality Assurance Internship (Temporary 3 months)

As part of the Quality Service and in close collaboration with the production, customer service, and maintenance teams, you will be responsible for ensuring product quality and actively contributing to the management of development projects (new products, process improvements, etc.).

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the application of good manufacturing practices in line with food standards.
• Implement and follow the quality control plan (floor tours, tracking of measurement instruments and quality control of raw materials, work-in-progress products, and finished products).
• Support the handling of non-conformities (internal, supplier, customer) and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Collaborate with services, production, customer service, and maintenance to ensure compliance with quality requirements at every stage of the production chain.
• Participate in the development of new processes or the improvement of existing ones.
• Perform any other related tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Student in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Relevant experience in quality within the food industry – an asset.
• Interest in quality standards and food safety.
• Rigor, autonomy, good interpersonal skills, and analytical mindset.
• Problem-solving skills (QQOQCP, 5M, 5P) – an asset.
• Be a good team player.
• Excellent communication skills in French and English (an asset), both oral and written, to meet the needs of our Canadian and American clients.

WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday, according to a schedule adapted to office hours.
