Concrete Laborer

Job Duties

• Read and interpret plans, diagrams, and drawings;
• Build and repair wooden forms used for concrete casting;
• Pour concrete into molds;
• Position rebar and wire mesh in molds;
• Finish surfaces of castings using a trowel or a straightedge;
• Consolidate concrete using an electric vibrator;
• Remove molds;
• Move products using hydraulic forklifts;
• Check the quality of products.

Required Skills

• Ability to perform manual work using manual, electric, or pneumatic tools;
• Good manual dexterity;
• Relevant training is an asset;
• 1 to 7 months of experience related to the job;
• Ability to stand for long periods;
• Ability to lift loads of 50 lbs;
• Work language: French.

Employment Conditions

• A permanent 40-hour week job during the day or night in a human environment;
• On-site work;
• Salary of $25.50/hour;
• Attendance Bonus of $0.50/hour;
