Your Responsibilities as a Grocery Coordinator

• Plan and coordinate the activities of a team of grocery clerks according to the objectives set by the department manager and in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
• Supervise employees from other departments (e.g., bakery, meat, fruits & vegetables, etc.) and ensure the execution of all store closing standards.
• Ensure that the store is ready to receive customers in terms of merchandise quantity, product labeling, rotation of perishable goods, and missing product orders.
• Ensure compliance with the market planogram.
• Daily report on evening operations to the department manager or store director.
• Ensure compliance with company policies (receiving, safety, consumption of goods, merchandise damage, handling of merchandise, etc.) and health, hygiene, safety, and workplace standards.
• Ensure the welcoming, training, and evaluation of evening grocery clerks.

Requirements

• Sec V or equivalent
• 3 years of experience as a grocery clerk
