JOB NUMBER CADRR-052-2026 INTRODUCTION
To continue its mission, the Economic Development Service is looking for a Coordinator of Real Estate and Land Affairs who will be at the forefront of the development of the industrial and technological sectors of the City of Sherbrooke.
The person sought will actively contribute to efforts aimed at attracting and retaining investment projects, by developing and managing incentive programs, collaborating on reflections and development of the industrial site offer, and negotiating real estate transactions.
CHALLENGES PROPOSED
Reporting to the Industrial and Technological Development Advisor, you will be responsible for various mandates, including:
- Identify, implement, and monitor strategies to encourage the establishment of businesses in Sherbrooke, particularly by developing tools to highlight the available industrial real estate in Sherbrooke and participating in the positioning of this offer to potential investors;
- Accompany and advise investors in the search for sites that meet their needs;
- Implement, monitor, and control the incentive programs of the City of Sherbrooke to stimulate industrial real estate investments;
- Perform the various steps of inspection, research, technical information collection, and analysis necessary for the evaluation of real estate and land rights;
- Advise municipal services regarding the acquisition, disposal, and leasing of industrial and commercial buildings and negotiate agreements to be concluded;
- Participate in the elaboration of the urban planning of the industrial and technological sectors;
- Collaborate with external partners to take advantage of the available financial levers in Sherbrooke and promote investment opportunities on the territory;
- Collaborate in the planning and implementation of industrial site development, rehabilitation, and enhancement plans.

PROFILE REQUIRED
You hold a bachelor's degree in administration with an option in urban and real estate management, or any other relevant qualification, and have five (5) years of experience in a similar role.
You possess strong skills in negotiating real estate transactions and leasing buildings.
You are bilingual (French and English) (asset).
You are recognized for the quality of your interpersonal and organizational communications, your spirit of collaboration, your ability to quickly understand needs, and your ability to advise clients and maintain harmonious and lasting relationships with them.
You demonstrate influence through your advisory approach and negotiation skills. Your rigor, combined with excellent organizational skills, allows you to manage multiple files simultaneously with tight deadlines.
