We are currently looking for an Ergotherapist for the L'Ormière Clinic.

Located in Neufchâtel, our clinic offers personalized care in a friendly environment, by a team of qualified professionals: physiotherapists, technologists, osteopaths, massage therapists, kinesiologists, and ergotherapists.

We offer a multidisciplinary approach for a diverse clientele, from athletes to the general population, from pediatric to geriatric, including perineal and pelvic reeducation, advanced manual therapy, running analysis, Bike fit, management of jaw disorders (ATM), and more.

Your responsibilities

• Conduct functional evaluations and assess patients' abilities/limitations
• Design and implement individualized intervention plans
• Provide manual treatments and interventions based on best practices
• Maintain complete and compliant progress notes
• Ensure quality follow-up and adjust plans according to patients' progress
• Teach and advise patients on strategies and prevention
• Work closely with other clinic professionals

Competencies we are looking for

• Position open to new graduates and experienced ergotherapists
• Be a member in good standing of the OEQ
• Interest in developing skills and refining expertise - expertise or interest in mental health or pediatrics is an asset
• Opportunity to develop a practice in hand treatment and home services
• Initiative, autonomy, and patient-centered approach
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written

Schedule

• Full-time: 35 hours per week
• Monday to Friday, day and evening shifts, flexible schedule to be determined with the candidate
• Start date flexible according to the candidate's availability

Remuneration

• Salary: From $39.01 to $72.79/hour

The hourly rate is established according to the prevailing salary scales, as well as the candidate's professional experience and developed expertise.
