The component repair supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operations of the various engine repair departments at our St-Hubert facility.

This is a full-time, day-shift position, Monday to Friday, based in St. Hubert, and is exclusively on-site.
What will your day-to-day look like?
- Supervise day-to-day repair/overhaul operations in a high technology industry, on the day shift.
- Motivate and energize the workforce to reach an optimal level of employee's engagement.
- Responsible of main performance indicators: Heath & Safety, quality, on time delivery, productivity, etc.
- Help develop and manage the budget and hiring.
- Supervise work shift changes;
- Host and take part in meetings with other managers
What do you need to be successful?
- Bachelor's degree in aeronautics, business administration, or in engineering
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in supervising employees in the manufacturing sectors
- Knowledge and experience with aftermarket repair and inspection processes in the aviation industry (Asset)
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Experience in leading and developing high performing teams, groups, projects and / or processes
- Must be quality oriented and committed to providing quality services in a demanding environment
- Ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment
- Lead to meet customer requirements while maintaining the highest quality of work
- Must be organized and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must be able to interact effectively with multiple support groups
This position is set in a French-speaking work environment, however, it requires functional English skills to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings, and technical terms that may originate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with international clients, suppliers, or colleagues.
