Description

Person who designs, defines, and implements adaptation and rehabilitation programs to help users achieve optimal social participation.

They evaluate and analyze their needs, intervene to promote the development of their autonomy, -whether in their daily life and domestic activities, reading and writing, adapted computer communication, and in their school, professional, and social integration process. They provide psychosocial support to users, support their immediate network, and refer them to partners, when required.

General Roles and Responsibilities

• Performs any other tasks related to their function and the reality of their position in this geographic area.

Specific Roles and Responsibilities

• Works in an interdisciplinary team;
• Adheres to and adjusts their clinical practice according to the conceptual models supported by DI-TSADP management;
• Interacts with a multi-age clientele;
• Knows and uses the evaluation tools specific to their discipline for the targeted clientele.

Requirements

• Must hold a specialized graduate degree (D.E.S.S.) in visual impairment intervention, visual impairment rehabilitation.
• Successful completion of a selection process
• Possess a vehicle and a valid driver's license
