Temporary position for a duration of 8 months

The mandate of the Principal Directorate of Acquisition and Mobile Sales Force (DP AFVM) is to support the network of credit unions, Desjardins Enterprises, and the various business sectors of the Movement in the implementation of strategies and activities related to the acquisition and development of emerging markets. More specifically, the DP AFVM is mandated to acquire clientele that is less inclined to visit the counter or non-traditional to Desjardins, such as newcomers, cultural communities, and students, in an agile and innovative manner, thanks, among other things, to its mobile sales teams.

As a Partnership Advisor, International Strategy and Newcomers, you contribute to the definition and development of strategic planning and monitoring, business plans and performance, target determination, identification of service improvement opportunities, and the design and delivery of business strategies and solutions in connection with the business architecture of various projects or within the framework of the transformation and evolution of the Desjardins Movement. You play a consulting and supporting role to the dedicated clientele and partners within the framework of various intervention and development mandates in your field of activity. You propose solutions for improvement or optimization of standards, policies, and programs. The nature of the files and projects requires extensive knowledge in your field of activity. You develop recommendations, solutions, and action plans, according to the organization's guidelines and objectives. You contribute to the resolution of complex problems, requiring analysis and detailed knowledge of the business domain. Interactions are frequent and you are called to interact with various stakeholders operating in complementary areas of expertise. Mastery of interpersonal relationships then becomes an essential skill. More specifically, you will be called upon to:

  • Diagnose the issues, challenges, needs, and problems to be solved in your field of activity in order to achieve the desired results
  • Ensure the elaboration of objectives, solutions, and action plans and participate in their implementation
  • Analyze information, conduct studies, develop and propose recommendations, and write reports.

What you will bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline
  • At least four years of relevant experience
  • Please note that other combinations of education and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Knowledge of clientele from cultural communities/newcomers, knowledge of their reality according to the region of arrival (Quebec, Montreal, Ontario).✈️
  • Availability to work from Monday to Friday, including evenings, and, if necessary, weekends.
  • Availability for occasional travel to the Desjardins PSR
