The Industrial Maintenance Specialist works under the normal supervision of the Equipment Management Supervisor. They play a key role in ensuring the reliability and safety of the plant's equipment, to ensure the proper functioning of industrial and related equipment. They combine basic skills in mechanics, electricity, and electronics. They also have basic knowledge of building machines and systems, as well as material management and communication skills.

As an Industrial Maintenance Specialist, your responsibilities include

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various electronic instruments necessary for testing. Use instruments such as: voltmeter, ammeter, ohmmeter, oscilloscope, etc.
• Perform tests to ensure that systems and equipment are functioning correctly after repair or installation.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns and ensure the safety of machines and other systems, while ensuring minimal impact on production.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and test results to ensure traceability and facilitate future interventions.
• Install and configure new equipment, electronic systems, and computers.
• Ensure that all interventions comply with safety standards and regulations.
• Any other related tasks.

How to Excel in this Role

• Diploma in electrical engineering, electronics, computer systems, or physics.
• Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience.
• Good knowledge of Windows application software (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Good command of French and English.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to handle 26kg or more, sometimes weekly.
