• Use a pneumatic or hydraulic hammer to drill rock according to drilling plans.
• Prepare drill holes for blasting or ground bolting.
• Install support after drilling to secure the ground.
• Maintain and inspect the hammer (greasing, checking hoses and parts).
• Work in a team with production and maintenance miners to ensure the safety and efficiency of operations.

Job Requirements

• Hold a DEP in mineral extraction;
• Hold your FMTM mining modules;
• Have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role;
• Hold a valid explosives permit.
