The Professional Services sector: Inter-team collaboration for the benefit of the client.

Do you want to deploy your expertise and talents in the service of our clients? Collaboration is at the heart of professional services, and your contribution will be essential to Addenda Capital's long-term success. We need you.

Reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer and Chief Risk Officer, as a member of the Compliance & Risk team, you will work collaboratively with team members to implement the firm's compliance program, monitor the regulations it is subject to, and various projects.

Your responsibilities

  • Conduct regulatory surveillance and review applicable changes;
  • Participate in the development and revision of Addenda's internal policies;
  • Draft and update internal documentation, including all policies and procedures related to compliance, required under various securities regulations;
  • Contribute to the review of business development and marketing materials, ensuring a compliance perspective is maintained before publication;
  • Participate in due diligence for new and existing service providers;
  • Collaborate on the implementation of anti-money laundering regulations;
  • Collaborate on operational risk management projects.

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree in administration, finance, accounting, law, or any other relevant discipline or combination of disciplines;
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant professional experience in a similar role;
  • In-depth knowledge of the asset management sector and its operations;
  • Experience interacting with third parties, regulators, or auditors;
  • In-depth knowledge of multiple regulations governing the investment markets (NI 31-103, NI 81-102, LRPCFAT, FATCA, CRS, etc.).

  • You are proficient in both French and English, both written and spoken (English is required for daily functions).
