Responsibilities

• Greet clients warmly and create a friendly, inviting atmosphere at the front desk
• Consult with clients to understand their hair styling preferences and recommend suitable services
• Perform professional hair styling, cutting, coloring, and finishing treatments with precision and care
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools
• Upsell additional services or retail products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
• Manage appointment scheduling efficiently to maximize client flow and minimize wait times
• Communicate clearly with clients about aftercare instructions and product recommendations

Experience

• Proven experience in hair styling, with a strong portfolio of diverse looks and techniques
• Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating patience, empathy, and active listening
• Knowledge of sanitation protocols and safety standards within a salon environment
• Ability to upsell products and services confidently without being pushy
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
• Previous retail sales experience is a plus, showcasing your ability to promote products naturally
• Experience working at the front desk or handling appointment bookings is desirable
