THE POSITION:
We are seeking a highly qualified Field Marketing Manager with strong experience in event organization and digital campaign management to lead marketing initiatives in Canada — one of our four North American commercial regions. This role will play a key part in generating leads and strengthening our brand awareness through targeted marketing actions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proven experience in implementing effective marketing strategies aligned with commercial objectives and fostering customer engagement. Proficiency in English/French (fluent) is required.
In addition to leading initiatives in Canada, this position may also involve supporting or taking charge of specific field events in the West America region to ensure consistent execution and optimal impact on key markets. This position reports to the Marketing Manager for North America.
YOUR MISSIONS
Strategy Development: Design and implement global marketing strategies tailored to the needs of regional markets to generate new prospects and feed the pipeline.
Field Event Management: Plan, organize, and execute high-impact field events (regional events, roundtables, conferences) to stimulate lead generation and strengthen customer relationships.
Pilot a flagship event in the "Procurement Innovation on Tour" series in your region, overseeing the organization from A to Z: program development, speaker coordination, venue selection, catering, and all other planning and logistical activities.
Account-Based Marketing (ABM): Develop and deploy ABM strategies targeting key account segments; create customized marketing programs addressing the specific needs of clients to foster lead generation and conversion of targeted accounts.
Campaign Management: Design and execute integrated marketing campaigns in collaboration with product marketing and digital teams (events, webinars, digital initiatives) to generate leads and nurture customer relationships.
Collaboration with Sales Teams: Work closely with the sales leadership to understand market dynamics, customer needs, and sales objectives, ensuring that marketing actions effectively support commercial goals.
Performance Analysis: Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives using key performance indicators (KPIs) and make data-driven adjustments to optimize results.
Budget Management: Manage the field marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing the return on investment (ROI) of marketing activities.
Travel 15 to 25% of the time expected YOUR PROFILE
More than 6 years of experience in marketing, including at least 3 years in field marketing.
Proven experience in managing field events and implementing effective marketing programs that foster customer engagement and lead generation.
More than 3 years of experience in managing and organizing in-person events.
ABM (Account-Based Marketing) Mastery: Solid understanding of ABM principles and best practices, with successful experience in developing targeted campaigns.
Project Management Skills: Excellent organizational and project management skills, with experience in coordinating multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills to evaluate campaign performance and derive actionable insights for continuous improvement.
Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages and engage diverse audiences.
Collaboration and Teamwork: Proven ability to work collaboratively with different teams and ensure alignment between marketing and sales.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities while staying focused on key objectives.
Creative Problem-Solving: Innovative mindset and ability to devise creative solutions to marketing challenges and identify new growth opportunities.
Experience with HubSpot and ABM tools (such as Demandbase): an asset.
Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field (Master's degree: an asset).
Proficiency in English is required, as we serve clients across Canada from our offices in Montréal and much of our activities are conducted in English; however, to the extent possible, we will respect the employee's right to work in French.
