Operations Accounting Student

Reporting to the Management Controller, the successful candidate will aim to support the Operations Accounting Analyst team in the in-depth analysis of plant performance and support the various plants in terms of financial information, as well as assist in the budgetary evaluation of our product costs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and perform a summary analysis of key production indicators;
• Assist analysts in maintaining the financial performance reports of production lines;
• Assist analysts in maintaining the monthly plant cost analysis reports;
• Ensure the integrity of the cost of goods sold data;
• Analyze inventory accounts and value products;
• Ensure the verification of the material consumption process;
• Support the Operations Accounting team in any other related task.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on accounting in progress;
• Strong interest in management accounting;
• Problem-solving skills;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both official languages (French and English);
• Good communication skills;
• Excellent computer skills and advanced knowledge of Excel;
• Organization, diligence, and professionalism.
