- The Opportunity
Our family law team is expanding. We are looking to hire one to two lawyers to join our growing team. We are seeking a lawyer with 1 to 5 years of demonstrated experience in family law. Although our offices are located in Montreal, frequent travel to neighboring districts may be required.
You will have your own cases from the start that you will manage from A to Z.
Tasks to be performed
- Conduct client interviews
- Develop the theory of a case
- Draft procedural documents
- Analyze case files
- Write legal opinions
- Conduct negotiations (in whole or in part)
- Prepare hearing files
- Represent clients in court
- Manage cases independently
- Desired Profile
- Member of the Quebec Bar
- At least 1 year of demonstrated experience in family law (required)
- Team spirit
- Excellent organizational, planning, and meticulousness skills
- Strong writing skills
- Ability to build a relationship with clients
- Self-sufficient
- Bilingual French-English (an asset)
- Experience in youth protection and/or immigration (an asset)

The start date is flexible.
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Compensation: Starting at $60,000 per year
Location: Hybrid remote work in Saint-Leonard, QC H1P 2B7
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, for a total of 37.5 hours per week.
