Join our globally united team of experts to help tackle complex challenges in transportation and bring forward-thinking projects from concept to completion.

You will perform a range of design and project management tasks related to the bridge and civil engineering department. You will be based at one of our offices in Montreal downtown, Laval, St-Laurent city, Brossard, or Quebec.

You have at least 10 years of experience in the design of bridges and civil engineering works, as well as the production of engineering plans and estimates, and you are familiar with current tools. Additionally, you must master Canadian and Quebec standards.

Key Functions and Responsibilities:

• Perform and verify preliminary and final design for Bridges and Civil Engineering Works;
• Detail structural elements in reinforced concrete and steel;
• Produce engineering reports, models, calculation notes, etc.;
• Manage project load, deliverables tracking, budget, and schedules;
• Provide technical support to the contractor and supervisor during construction;
• Ensure all documents are prepared in accordance with applicable standards;
• Required Expertise:
• More than 10 years of experience in the design of bridges and civil engineering works;
• Experience in project management in the engineering field is an asset;
• Degree in engineering from a recognized institution is required;
• Membership in the Order of Engineers of Quebec is required;
• General knowledge of engineering principles and structural materials;
• Ability to understand construction documents and design standards in Quebec;
• Strong experience in bridge design and construction methods;
• Advanced knowledge in the design of steel, reinforced concrete, and prestressed structural elements;
• Basic skills in Microsoft Office products, Bluebeam, ADA, and CSI Bridges;
• 3D modeling knowledge required, advanced skills preferred;
• Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate well with the various people involved in a project (engineers, technicians, client, etc.);
• Critical thinking skills required with the ability to plan and conceptualize;
• Ability to recognize issues and have a concern for details;
• Strong French oral and written communication skills;
• ASP Construction card is mandatory;
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required.
