As an Assistant, Wealth Management, you support a wealth advisor or a team of wealth advisors by providing professional and efficient service to clients and ensuring sound administrative management of client accounts, in accordance with the firm's policies and procedures and the industry regulations for securities. You handle client inquiries and assume various operational support responsibilities related to the activities of the advisor or team, including executing transactions on behalf of clients under the advisor's or team's guidance. More specifically, you will be tasked with:
- Supporting the wealth management team in all its administrative, customer service, and business development activities
- Responding to client inquiries regarding their account and/or the products and services offered by the firm and performing the necessary follow-ups and research to ensure quality service at all times
- Completing, verifying, and forwarding various forms related to account openings
- Monitoring daily activities in client accounts and resolving various administrative details to free up the advisor(s)
- Verifying data from various information sources to ensure compliance, according to established policies and standards (transaction corrections, check requisitions and deposits, transfer tracking, mail receipt and sending, and asset and REER contribution exchanges)
- Executing buy and sell transactions for clients according to the advisor's or team's directives
- Processing data, including producing various documents for the client, ensuring the quality of written language and document presentation
- Participating in identifying operational risks and seeking improvements related to the team's activities

What you bring to the table
- College diploma (DEC technical) in an appropriate discipline
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience
- Please note that other combinations of education and relevant experience may be considered
- Registration with the OCRI as a registered representative
- Strong communication skills in French and English, both oral and written, due to the nature of the tasks, work tools, or interactions with anglophone partners, members, or clients
- Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel software in a Windows environment
