What will you contribute to the team?

Lead supplier risk management: Provide leadership for the supplier risk management framework, governance process, and risk review committees. Oversee supplier risk assessments covering operational, financial, capacity, quality, and geopolitical aspects. Ensure continuity plans and mitigation strategies are established and maintained with suppliers.

Drive supplier turnaround and intervention programs: Lead initiatives to turn around suppliers facing critical delivery, quality, capacity, or financial health issues. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to develop, execute, and track corrective action plans. Escalate major risks and support supplier sourcing, transition, or replacement strategies as required.

Manage supplier risk management teams: Lead, mentor, and develop supplier risk managers and intervention specialists. Prioritize team activities based on risk exposure and impact on business operations. Promote uniform application of risk management practices and enhance organizational capabilities in this area.

Project and program management: Lead projects aimed at reducing supplier risks, enhancing resilience, and ensuring business continuity. Develop turnaround roadmaps, project plans, milestones, and governance reports for senior leadership. Coordinate stakeholders and facilitate resolution of issues across different functions.

Data-driven risk management: Monitor supplier performance trends and early warning indicators using data analytics. Identify and prioritize emerging risks requiring mitigation or intervention measures. Support leadership decision-making with predictive risk assessments and relevant recommendations.

Governance and continuous improvement: Maintain supplier risk registers, governance standards, and accountability processes. Lead periodic risk reviews and document lessons learned from interventions. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen supply chain resilience and align with supplier performance management strategies.

How will you thrive in this role?

Experience: More than 10 years of experience in supply chain management, supplier management, supplier development, operations, procurement, or manufacturing in the aerospace industry or complex industrial environments. More than 5 years of experience in team management and/or leading major supplier turnaround initiatives.

Supply chain and risk management expertise: Excellent understanding of supplier risk management methodologies and frameworks. Experience in evaluating supplier financial, operational, capacity, and quality risks. Knowledge of business continuity planning and supply chain resilience strategies. Experience in managing supplier turnaround and transformation programs.

Project and program management: Demonstrated ability to lead complex, multidisciplinary projects. Excellent skills in planning, prioritization, and stakeholder management. Experience in developing turnaround roadmaps, project plans, and governance presentations for senior leadership.

Technical and analytical skills: Proficiency in SAP and ERP systems. Good understanding of supply chain and supplier performance KPIs. Experience with Power BI, analytical platforms, and reporting tools. Ability to interpret risk dashboards and translate data into actionable plans.

Leadership and communication: Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills to senior leadership. Ability to influence and align multiple stakeholders from different functions. Recognized skills in conflict resolution, negotiation, and escalation management.

Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations management, engineering, business administration, or a related field. An MBA, PMP certification, Lean Six Sigma, or other professional supply chain certifications are assets.

Languages: Bilingual French and English (spoken and written) preferred.
