Description

• Join Bridor and contribute to the production of world-renowned bakery products!

Bridor, part of the international Le Duff group, is expanding and is recruiting Daily Workers for its facility located in Boucherville (South Shore).

This is an entry-level position offering a great opportunity to discover various sectors of the food production industry. You will be called upon to support operations by performing various functions as needed, including production, packaging, palletizing, and sanitation.

Competitive Compensation

• Wage: $22.95/hour
• Night premium: $1.25/hour
• Employment Conditions

This is a call-in employment with 12-hour shifts (approximately 36 hours per week).

Schedules are established each week based on your availability and operational needs.

• Be available to offer at least 5 12-hour shifts per week;
• Be available during the day and night, as well as on Saturdays if needed;
• Be available for a two-week day training before starting assignments.

Responsibilities

As a Daily Worker, you will work as part of a team and may be called upon to perform various tasks as needed by the factory.

Production

• Participate in manufacturing operations on production lines;
• Perform bread scoring while respecting production schedules;
• Check product dimensions, weight, and compliance;
• Quickly alert the operator to any anomalies or blockages;
• Feed equipment with ingredients (handling up to 25 kg);
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.

Packaging and Palletizing

• Sort products before packaging;
• Check production codes, expiration dates, and quantities;
• Install plastic film rolls and make necessary adjustments;
• Perform manual packaging tasks when required;
• Check labeling and pallet compliance;
• Complete control forms;
• Route pallets to the freezer;
• Participate in cleaning lines during production stops.

Sanitation

• Perform cleaning, sanitizing, and reassembling of equipment according to established procedures;
• Clean various production areas and common spaces;
• Restock workstations with supplies (paper, soap, gloves, etc.);
• Participate in waste management;
• Use cleaning products safely while following procedures;
• Maintain sanitation equipment;
• Report any anomalies or hazards to your supervisor.

Health and Safety

• Always follow health and safety at work, sanitation, and food safety rules;
• Apply safe work procedures, including locking when required;
• Perform any other related tasks to support operations.

Requirements: Desired Profile

• Be authorized to work in Canada (citizen, permanent resident, or holder of an open work permit);
• Good understanding of French;
• Be comfortable with physical work;
• Ability to lift weights up to 25 kg;
• Enjoy teamwork and be versatile;
• Show initiative and autonomy;
• Be able to work in a cool environment (approximately 8°C) and in various sectors of the factory;
• Be able to follow production schedules;
• Be comfortable working in an environment with flour and other allergens (e.g., nuts).

Assets

• Experience in food processing, production, or industrial sanitation;
• Knowledge of health and safety at work;
• SIMDUT or locking training (an asset, training offered as needed).
