We are looking for a Production Operator to join our Satellite Systems team at our Montreal office.
Role
Using detailed instructions, performs basic manual tasks and operates automatic or semi-automatic machines to carry out various routine and repetitive assembly operations on components, assemblies, or sub-assemblies of products. Level of responsibility: Works from process sheets or written/verbal detailed instructions.
Tasks
- Performs various simple operations for high-volume production.
- Operates various automatic or semi-automatic machines.
- Performs basic validations before proceeding to subsequent production steps.
- Connects assembled units and initiates the automated validation process.
- Feeds materials and removes finished products from the line.
- Transports pieces to various workstations.
- Supports shipping/receiving operations.
- Other tasks as needed.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Able to follow basic assembly drawings and detailed instructions
- Ability to use production databases
- Manual dexterity and ability to use simple hand tools
- Team spirit
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 0 to 1 year of relevant experience.
- Language proficiency: Basic English knowledge, an asset.
- Special Comments/Considerations:
Selected candidates must obtain and maintain a security clearance at the reliability rating level and pass the security evaluation for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.
