• R&D Project Manager
• OBJECTIVES

Under the supervision of the Research and Development Supervisor, the R&D Project Manager develops fresh and frozen meals and meal components that meet customer expectations. The products must be innovative, meet profit margin goals, and integrate best practices into available industrial processes.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop meals and meal components according to customer and operational requirements while respecting costs
• Evaluate and suggest ingredients to optimize yield, efficiency, and recipe quality
• Act as an expert, when requested, to address manufacturing issues
• Participate in customer activities and presentations to promote products
• Stay informed and open to culinary trends, consumption patterns, and international cuisine
• Collaborate with other functions, including:
• Sales and Marketing to initiate and orchestrate customer project follow-up from concept to production
• Purchasing to initiate and confirm supply, evaluate, and implement new materials
• Quality Assurance to ensure compliance with HACCP plans for new processes
• Industrial Performance to design and optimize industrial processes, including cost reduction, with production and design teams
• Perform any other related tasks as requested

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• ITHQ diploma paired with 7 years of experience in renowned restaurant settings
• Creativity and sense of aesthetics
• Passion for culinary innovation, flavors, and global ingredients
• Ability to translate business objectives into product/recipe concepts
• Understanding and mastery of nutritional approaches
• Excellent communication and relationship skills
• Contributes to a positive team spirit
• Ability to challenge assumptions while considering constraints
• Organized
• Ability to manage priorities
