The cashier, under the supervision of the management team, is responsible for welcoming customers with courtesy and enthusiasm while completing the required transactions for customer purchases.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate the cash register and process customer transactions quickly and efficiently;
• Stay up-to-date with store policies and procedures to handle all types of transactions according to Aubainerie standards;
• Communicate current and upcoming promotions and events to customers to maximize sales and increase foot traffic;
• Always act as an ambassador of excellence in the quality of customer service by applying Aubainerie standards;
• Thank all customers upon their departure;
• Be sensitive to internal theft and shoplifting and participate in preventing them by respecting policies;
• Fill/replace/store cash register materials to ensure they are always available and in sufficient quantity;
• Participate in the maintenance and proper upkeep of your cash register so that it always reflects the image of Aubainerie;
• Make price changes quickly and accurately and handle tasks with the necessary attention to avoid errors;
• Respect safety standards in handling money;
• Perform replacements in other departments, clothing labeling, and cash register display filling when no customers are present at the cash registers;
• Perform all other related tasks.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCES

• Less than 12 months of experience in a similar role;
• Experience in handling money and operating cash registers;
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service;
• Meticulousness and attention to detail;
• Energy and dynamism.
