  • JOB OVERVIEW

BDC has initiated its digital transformation and is modernizing its products and services. As part of this initiative, we are looking for passionate and bilingual talents who wish to play a key role in this transformation and contribute to the evolution of BDC’s financing services through their technical expertise and sense of innovation.

The selected person will join the Client Management family as a Software Engineer. This role goes beyond the traditional developer position as it involves participation in all activities of the SSDLC (Secure Software Development Lifecycle) in an agile delivery mode (i.e. solution design, testing, CI/CD deployments, etc.).

This role requires strong expertise in backend development and enterprise system integration, particularly in CRM environments (such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Dataverse or equivalent). The selected person will contribute to the evolution, integration, and stability of critical systems already in production.

The team consists of a Product Owner, a Scrum Master, a Business Analyst, a Technical Lead, and three other Software Engineers. The team focuses on optimizing processes for our clients (entrepreneurs) and our account managers through technology.

This position is for you if

  • You work well in an agile environment where initiative, transparent communication, and innovation are valued.
  • You contribute to improving the customer journey and the experience of internal users through CRM solutions.
  • You thrive within a dynamic and fast-paced team and know how to redirect your efforts towards work that brings the most value to our business development managers and our clients.
  • You are passionate about cutting-edge technologies and continuous improvement in your daily activities.

THE CHALLENGES AWAITING YOU

  • Participate in all phases of the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC), including technical design, documentation, development, and delivery of user-friendly and scalable technical solutions, based on information architecture, functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Implement in different environments (development and test) until production, including creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
  • Evolve in a complex environment comprising several interconnected systems and existing components.
  • Ensure the quality, security, and stability of the system by following development and documentation standards and practices.
  • Participate in the development of the test strategy for several initiatives and ensure that the implementation of automated tests provides sufficient confidence in the quality of the deliverables.
  • Maintain existing applications, including incident resolution, production support, and refactoring of existing code.
  • Adapt to the evolution of technology, learn, and apply new methods to achieve the organization’s goals.
  • Be an active participant in agile ceremonies and team meetings.

Education and Professional Experience

  • 7 to 10 years of experience in software engineering
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.

Minimum and Essential Skills

  • Strong experience with Dynamics 365 (customization, plugins, workflows, integrations, Dataverse) highly desired
  • Act as a technical reference within the team and contribute to architectural decisions
  • Support and guide other developers on complex technical issues
  • Strong experience in backend development with .NET / C#
  • Experience in API development and system integration
  • Experience in maintaining and evolving applications in production
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills in complex environments
  • Advanced experience in creating CI/CD pipelines as code in Azure DevOps (not just executing deployments)
  • Experience in developing robust automated tests (X-Unit)
  • Experience with modern authentication and authorization mechanisms (OpenID Connect & OAuth)
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts. Good knowledge of SOLID design principles and design patterns
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
  • Integrity, honesty, and transparency
  • Professionalism, diligence, attention to detail, and strong work ethic
  • Bilingualism and excellent oral and written communication skills

Complementary Skills

  • Knowledge and experience in the financial services domain – an asset.
  • Understanding of containerization and cloud services such as Tanzu
  • Good understanding of event-driven architecture and knowledge of event streaming and messaging systems such as Kafka.
  • Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server and MySQL
  • Advanced experience with software engineering practices such as TDD, pair programming, simple design, Fake First

Other

  • Hybrid position – 3 days per week in the office (non-negotiable)
  • Matrix work model (reporting to a chapter leader, with a delivery leader managing the team’s deliveries)
  • #INDHP
