Your responsibilities as a Meat Department Manager

• Plan and coordinate department activities to achieve sales and profitability goals set by the director, while respecting the applicable collective agreement;
• Ensure that the store is ready to receive customers in terms of merchandise quantity, product labeling, rotation of perishable goods, and ordering of missing products;
• Organize team work according to operational needs;
• Ensure the implementation of in-store marketing and place orders for the department;
• Check and control inventory;
• Apply hygiene and sanitation standards in the sales area as well as company policies and standards.

Requirements

• Hold a professional studies diploma in butchery;
• Have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a retail store in the relevant department;
• Experience in management is an important asset.
