IaC Developer

The IaC Developer plays a key role in the company's transformation towards advanced observability and modern engineering culture. They design, develop, and automate infrastructure and observability solutions based on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Everything as Code (XaC) practices.

This role combines software development, automation, cloud architecture, and supporting teams in adopting industry-recognized practices.

Transformation & Observability

• Support and accelerate the observability vision within the organization
• Promote the adoption of modern practices (observability, automation, DevOps)
• Actively participate in the company's technological and cultural transformation

Development & Automation

• Design, develop, and maintain observability solutions (logging, metrics, tracing, alerting)
• Develop code (Python, Terraform, etc.) for PoCs, PoTs, and production solutions
• Automate deployments and configurations via IaC (Terraform, Helm, etc.)
• Implement new features in existing observability platforms

Architecture & Cloud Solutions

• Participate in the design and architecture of cloud solutions (AWS primarily)
• Collaborate with teams to build scalable, secure, and resilient solutions
• Apply API-driven and GitOps principles

Support & Continuous Improvement

• Provide support for observability platforms and solutions
• Adopt a continuous improvement mindset (Lean, software engineering)
• Identify and implement technical and operational optimizations

Coaching & Technical Leadership

• Coach and support teams in their journey towards observability
• Provide formal and informal training tailored to needs
• Act as a facilitator and technical leader in cross-functional initiatives
• Lead technological watch initiatives
• Produce and present proofs of concept (PoCs, PoVs)
• Explore opportunities related to AI and emerging technologies
• The candidate will work in an agile and modern environment:
• TDD / BDD / ATDD (automated testing)
• Scrum, Kanban, SAFe (with the possibility of assuming PO or Scrum Master roles)
• CI/CD (Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery)
• GitOps
• Lean Software Development
• API-driven & Everything as Code (XaC)

Profile

• Solid experience in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform strongly desired)
• Experience in observability (logs, metrics, monitoring, alerting)
• Deep knowledge of AWS environments
• Proficiency in Python (or equivalent language)
• Experience in cloud architecture design
• Good knowledge of software engineering practices:
