  • Loader Operator
  • for our site in
  • Lévis
  • , Quebec. This is a permanent position with a schedule of
  • Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

. Reporting to the manager of the automotive pressing department, the incumbent is responsible for traveling to various job sites to participate in automotive body pressing activities.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and maneuver a loader;
  • Load vehicles to be crushed in the press using the loader;
  • Operate the press to crush the vehicles;
  • Drive company vehicles to reach the client (Class 1 asset);
  • Comply with the Highway Safety Code;
  • Ensure proper use and functioning of company equipment;
  • Conduct inspections before using any equipment;
  • Keep records and daily activity reports up to date;
  • Ensure the proper functioning of machinery;
  • Perform any other related tasks.

To join our team

  • Hold a valid Class 5 driver's license;
  • Possess a DEP in heavy equipment operation (an asset);
  • Have one year of experience in heavy machinery operation;
  • Hold a Class 1 driver's license (an asset);
  • Be self-sufficient and resourceful;
  • Have a good sense of organization;
  • Demonstrate vigilance and effectively analyze your environment;
  • Have a knack for customer service.
  • Additional Information
  • Work Environment:
  • Frequent travel to different sites (100% on the road);
  • May occasionally be required to sleep outside;
  • Primarily outdoor work, with possible exposure to hot or cold temperatures;
  • Noisy work environment;
  • Physically demanding tasks.
