SSP Canada operates several restaurants at Montreal's Pierre-Elliott-Trudeau International Airport: Prepare, serve, sell, store, and handle all foods and beverages. This includes greeting customers, taking and preparing orders, and handling payments. These tasks must be completed on time and with professionalism to achieve the highest possible level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Take and process customer orders and enter them accurately into the point of sale (POS) system.
• Receive payments from customers and provide change when needed.
• Handle, store, and rotate all products appropriately.
• Ensure adequate and appropriate setup each day, including restocking food, paper products, and condiments.
• Be responsible for maintaining stock, daily cutting, and storing perishable products to ensure their quality.
• Complete opening, tracking, and closing checklists as needed.
• Assume full responsibility for the quality of served products.
• Perform general and specific cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products, as assigned by the supervisor, to meet hygiene standards.

Skills and Other Requirements

• High school diploma preferred.
• Proficiency in English and French, both spoken and written. Ability to read, speak, and understand both languages to communicate with customers and take orders.
• Experience in customer service problem resolution.
• Basic math skills required to use a cash register, provide change, add up customers, tally up amounts to deposit, prepare cash deposits, and add up all other charges.
• Brand certification, if required.
• Ability to memorize, recite, and promote different menu items.
• Ability to use the keyboard and POS procedures to pre-check, order, and close a bill.
• Ability to work standing in confined spaces for long periods.

This position is located in a secure airport environment and requires a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).

All candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada and able to provide the required official documents for airport security clearance. Documents will be verified during the onboarding process in accordance with Transport Canada regulations.
