Can you establish, create, and maintain interesting relationships with our clients? Do you enjoy dealing with clients and helping them with their financial needs? We are looking for an

Associate, Personal Banking Services for our branch, who will be able to direct clients to the staff member capable of responding to their financial requests and banking needs, including new accounts, investment advice, and banking solutions. Do you think you have what it takes?

In a typical day, your responsibilities could include

  • Engage in conversations with clients about needs related to advice, routine banking operations, service operations, information on digital services, and problem-solving related to banking solutions
  • Understand clients' needs and direct them to the right person who will provide relevant solutions, while exercising good judgment for confidential matters
  • Build clients' confidence in new banking trends, such as mobile banking services, ATMs, and online banking services
  • Support frontline staff with scheduled, cash-related, or non-cash-related operations; resolve major issues and report exceptions to management
  • Recommend improvements to work practices, branch operations, and processes to enhance the customer experience and achieve operational excellence
  • Participate in the accurate and timely use of business processes and procedures
  • Ensure that prepared documents are accurate, reflect the company's intentions, and comply with relevant regulations and the TD Code of Conduct and Professional Ethics
  • Contribute to creating a positive and fair work environment by demonstrating team effectiveness, participating in individual performance and development, and sharing industry knowledge to achieve a common goal

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma and/or
  • At least one year of relevant experience
  • Canadian Investment Funds (CIF) course or equivalent – within 6 months of appointment
  • Post-secondary diploma or bachelor's degree (in a related field), an asset
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook), branch software, and Internet
  • Knowledge of banking solutions and processes to inform clients
  • Initiative and ability to work in a dynamic work environment independently, with excellent organizational skills and strong administrative, planning, and time management skills
  • Dynamic influencer, meticulous, and efficient, with a positive attitude for taking initiative, handling multiple tasks, and modifying priorities
  • Good communicator with recognized customer experience skills, who can effectively establish a connection, verbally or in writing, with clients and relevant teams in a courteous and efficient manner
