SSP Canada operates several restaurants within Montreal-Trudeau International Airport. At SSP Canada, our servers enjoy interacting with customers while serving craft beverages and delicious dishes. Our servers are up-to-date on the trends in the alcoholic beverage industry. They have experience in preparing drinks and serving with particular attention to detail. Our restaurants are dynamic, and our servers work quickly and accurately while providing exceptional customer service effortlessly!

Here’s what you can expect when joining our team as a server:

• Welcome customers quickly, courteously, and friendly
• Take orders at the cash register and create a bill for each customer
• Receive cash payments from customers, give change if necessary, verify the validity of fees, record payments, and ensure that the correct receipts are issued
• Maintain an appropriate bar setup at all times
• Ensure the daily storage, cutting, and preservation of all fresh fruits and vegetables for garnishes, juices, and other perishable products to ensure their quality
• Always comply with provincial, federal, and company regulations regarding the serving of alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated customers
• Perform general cleaning tasks using standard products, as instructed by the supervisor, to meet health standards
• Complete any other assigned tasks

Skills and Other Requirements

• One year of experience as a server required
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and serving alcoholic beverages
• Proficiency in both French and English, both spoken and written
• Basic math skills required to use a cash register, give change, total bills, count cash, prepare deposits, and understand weights and measures
