Your Tasks at a Glance

• You are the master of cleanliness and sterility of our tools and equipment.
• You receive, sort, disassemble, decontaminate, clean, assemble, package, sterilize and store the instruments.
• You keep a precise record of sterile articles.
• You ensure stock rotation (FIFO) and retire expired articles.
• You are patient and can stand for long periods, performing repetitive movements and staying focused on your tasks.
• You adhere to sterilization standards and ensure they are regularly followed.
• You support the organization's risk management program by quickly identifying and reporting any incident, concern or risk related to patient safety to the clinic's management to contribute to the company's overall efforts to identify, report and mitigate risks.

A Clear View of Your Assets

• You have a sense of responsibility and take your role seriously.
• You have a certain interest in the field of health and high-tech devices.
• Your experience in the health field is considered an asset (e.g.: optometry assistant, benefits officer, dental assistant, pharmacy laboratory technician, sterilization officer, veterinary health aide-technician, etc.).
• A certificate of sterile treatment technician or a course in medical device reprocessing technician (PRDM/MDRT) is NOT required, but is considered an asset.
• You are available to work at both LASIK MD clinics in Quebec: Lebourgneuf and Sainte-Foy.
