About the Role

Our client, a public sector organization, is looking for a Business Analyst to contribute to the evolution and improvement of information systems. The role holder will act as an intermediary between business teams and technical teams to define needs, analyze impacts, recommend solutions, and support their implementation in an Agile environment. They will actively participate in analysis, quality assurance, process optimization, acceptance testing, and change management activities.

Responsibilities

• Define and document business needs in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Analyze impacts, issues, and opportunities related to expressed needs.
• Conduct business analyses and recommend suitable solutions.
• Participate in Agile team activities and contribute to the delivery of quality increments.
• Write and maintain functional documentation, analysis files, and product backlogs.
• Collaborate on requirement management, solution validation, and quality assurance.
• Act as a Product Owner (PO) or Quality Manager when required.
• Participate in estimations, planning, and product backlog refinement.
• Facilitate communication between users, development teams, and other project stakeholders.
• Review and optimize business processes in compliance with BPMN standards.
• Support change management, training, and knowledge transfer activities.
• Prepare and execute acceptance tests and validate results.
• Participate in deployment and implementation activities of solutions.
• Produce reports, recommendations, and presentations for stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, or administration (with an option in organizational information systems, business technology management, or related field), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Business Analyst in a context of system development or improvement.
• Experience in defining needs, analyzing impacts, managing requirements, and identifying solutions.
• Experience in system governance activities, including acceptance testing, integration testing, deployment, and process optimization.
• Participation in projects exceeding 4,000 person-days.
• Experience in business process optimization in a context of organizational transformation.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and requirement management practices.
• Excellent communication skills, facilitation of workshops, and stakeholder management.
