Description

Generally, here are the tasks you can expect to perform:
- Ensure the welcome and integration of the user in the living unit,
- Collaborate in the evaluation of the overall needs of users, ensuring that the environment meets their needs and promotes their rehabilitation or well-being,
- Participate in the elaboration of intervention plans,
- Organize and animate rehabilitation activities according to the needs of users,
- Write observation reports, evaluation reports, and any other required documents,
- Work in collaboration with other health and social services professionals.

Requirements
- Hold a college diploma (DEC) in specialized education techniques or intervention techniques in delinquency from a recognized school by the competent ministry. This category also includes those who hold a college certificate in specialized education techniques or institutional rehabilitation.

- Hold a fourteen (14) years of general schooling diploma recognized by the competent ministry or a youth cadre educator certificate from exceptional childhood recognized by the Ministry of Health and Social Services and the competent ministry, and/or have completed fifty percent (50%) of the general course leading to the official diploma in institutional rehabilitation or specialized education (college course).

- Direction of Youth Protection and Youth Program
is represented by two programs offering services to youth clientele and their families.
Youth protection aims to protect children, strategically position the distribution of social services to the child and their family, in compliance with various legislative provisions. It also promotes the rehabilitation and reintegration of delinquent youth. By its mission, it also has a youth shelter facility including rehabilitation services for youth in difficulty adapting.
The youth program aims to promote the health and proper development of children. It accompanies and supports families in periods requiring an adaptation of their parental reality. By its mission, the youth program also has under its responsibility the perinatal services and school health services as well as the psychosocial services including youth mental health, pediatrics, pediatric psychiatry, ... the midwifery service as well as the house of births.

In collaboration with our partners, our goal is to contribute to the development of the capacities of people living with intellectual disability (DI), autism spectrum disorder (TSA), or physical disability (DP) and to maximize their autonomy for better social participation, in a global clinical approach aiming to reduce situations of handicap for the maintenance or resumption of their daily habits. The life project and the priority needs of the user and their family are at the heart of our concerns and guide our interventions.
