Operations Supervisor

Robert Group is recruiting an Operations Supervisor who will be responsible for achieving the objectives of their division, in accordance with the values of Robert Group.

You will be the leader and controller of the "field" activities of your sector, in relation with the distribution team. The supervisor must contribute with concrete actions to the optimization of performance, being responsible for the productivity and results of their team.

The tasks of the Operations Supervisor are

• Supervise the daily operations of a distribution center and ensure the achievement of objectives (productivity, quality, deadlines)
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of employees (coaching, performance evaluation, discipline)
• Ensure occupational health and safety (SST) and promote a secure environment
• Optimize the use of human and material resources to maximize operational efficiency
• Plan schedules and manage absences (vacation, leave, absenteeism)
• Apply and enforce company policies and procedures
• Ensure active presence on the floor and intervene quickly in case of situations (conflicts, incidents, etc.)
• Manage administrative tasks (time sheets, follow-ups, employee files, purchase orders)
• Coordinate equipment and operational needs with internal teams

The profile of the Operations Supervisor

• College diploma (AEC) in logistics and transportation or equivalent experience
• Strong leadership and excellent team management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment
• Good priority management and sense of organization
• Knowledge of SST standards
