Frima is looking for a senior Unreal programmer (C++) to help its game programming team level up.
*We are Frima, a video game development studio based in Quebec and Montreal for over 20 years, and we bring together hundreds of passionate talents united by one ambition: to create unforgettable games on all platforms.

What Your Weeks Will Look Like
- Daily Scrum meetings to start the day right;
- Serve as a technical reference for the programming team, assisting programmers in solving complex challenges and sharing best practices;
- Collaborate with the Lead Programmer to define technical solutions tailored to project needs and production constraints;
- Participate in code reviews with different team members;
- Identify and resolve performance issues related to CPU, GPU, and console memory;
- Take on some technical decisions autonomously and contribute to the project's technological direction on console;
- Develop and maintain the link between Unreal and console tool and pipeline chains;
- Debug issues related to new mobile devices and updates to Xbox and Sony operating systems;
- Maintain configurations and integrations with first-party services (Microsoft and Sony).
What We're Looking For
- University or college degree in computer science or equivalent;
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in a programmer role;
- Good knowledge of the different material and software levels that operate during the execution of a video game on console;
- Comfortable with long-term iterations;
- Expertise developed with the Unreal engine;
- Solid experience in console game development;
- Excellent mastery of French and English (written and spoken). English skills are required for the job as we collaborate with anglophone partners;
- Ability to travel outside the country if needed.
