As a Customer Service Representative, Online Brokerage, you provide a professional and efficient service in response to customer requests, in accordance with the firm's policies and procedures and the regulations of the securities industry. You contribute to the handling, development, and maintenance of the business relationship with the client. You analyze and perform the transactions of buying and selling different financial products at the request of the clients and seize the opportunities to increase the business relationship with them. You provide customer support and contribute to the maintenance of the business relationship. You discuss products and services with current or potential members and clients, mainly by telephone. Mastery of interpersonal relationships becomes an essential skill, and you take advantage of your ability to achieve results. More specifically, you will be required to:
- Process buy and sell orders for shares, bonds, options, or any other financial instrument denominated in Canadian dollars or foreign currencies, in accordance with the instructions previously transmitted by the member and client by telephone or electronically
- Support the team in all its administrative, customer service, and business development activities
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding their account and/or the products and services offered by the firm and perform the necessary follow-ups and research to ensure a quality service at all times
- Perform routine operational tasks related to the opening of new accounts and the maintenance of existing accounts
- Identify operational risks and contribute to the search for improvements related to the team's activities
- Ensure compliance with the firm's policies, standards, and procedures and those of the regulatory bodies

What you will bring
- College diploma (DEC technical) in an appropriate discipline
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience in the securities industry
- Please note that other combinations of education and relevant experience may be considered
- Successful Representative License with the OCRI or the person commits to taking the Canadian Securities Regulatory Examinations (CSRE) within six months of employment
- French language proficiency required
- Advanced intermediate English proficiency due to the nature of the tasks, work tools, or interactions with English-speaking partners or members and clients (level 4)
- Knowledge of the regulations and standards of the securities industry
