Superintendent - Quebec

The incumbent is responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and executing construction work on projects, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate work continuously to meet established schedules and client requirements
• Develop and coordinate optimal construction methods
• Participate in the development of the project schedule
• Prepare P3S to meet the master schedule
• Participate and coordinate all meetings with professionals, clients, and subcontractors
• Identify and coordinate solutions to construction technical problems with stakeholders
• Control the quality of received goods and work according to the established quality plan and manage non-conforming work according to procedure
• Master the content of relevant contractual documents for the project
• Keep construction plans up to date
• Be responsible for health and safety at work with various trades, such as meetings, prevention programs, displays, etc.
• Ensure the quality of work before inspection by professionals
• Proactively manage the correction of deficiency lists promptly and coordinate corrections of deficiencies as they are raised
• Complete administrative documents daily (e.g., daily reports, work tickets, coded delivery slips, change orders, inspection reports)
• Be responsible for immobilizations (trailer, toilet, phone, identification, permits, etc.)
• All other related tasks

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a superintendent on commercial, institutional, and/or multi-residential construction sites
• Leadership, autonomy, client orientation, team spirit
• Valid first aid certificate
• ASP card
