Cost Accounting and Cost of Goods Sold Analyst

Under the supervision of the Financial Controller, you will play a strategic role in analyzing production costs and managing the cost of goods sold system. You will also be a pillar of support for the administrative team, particularly in the areas of payroll and accounts payable/receivable.

Cost analysis and optimization

• Monitor and update standard costs;
• Analyze variances between actual and standard costs (labor, raw materials, general expenses);
• Identify improvement opportunities and propose concrete solutions;
• Ensure the reliability of cost data and product structures.

Management and collaboration

• Monitor inventories and report any anomalies or risks;
• Collaborate with technical teams to improve and standardize products;
• Support administrative teams as needed;
• Actively participate in improving accounting processes and systems.

Education

• DEC in accounting and management techniques or BAC in administration (accounting, finance, or management).

Experience

• 3 to 5 years in a similar role.

Key skills

• Sharp analytical mind and great attention to detail;
• Excellent proficiency in Excel and computer tools;
• Functional bilingualism (French and English, both spoken and written);
• Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
