• Perform verification, calibration, and installation of control instruments;
• Replace parts with equivalent pieces;
• Participate in the development and maintenance of the preventive maintenance program and continuous improvement;
• Participate in the standardization program for the manufacturing and installation of new production equipment and other equipment or items necessary for the management of operations;
• Perform configuration, programming, and troubleshooting of control systems such as programmable logic controllers, machine interfaces, speed variators, servocontrollers, and all other types of controllers;
• Respond to service calls, perform various electrical work according to regulations, and perform all other tasks as required by your supervisor;
• Configure devices on an Ethernet network (IP address).

Qualifications

• Hold a college diploma (DEC) in Industrial Electronics or Electrical Engineering or equivalent;
• Hold a Class C license;
• Good technical knowledge of programmable logic controllers (Allen Bradley, Schneider, Siemens) (asset) as well as speed variators (Danfoss, Allen Bradley...) (asset);
• Ability to adapt to a rotating schedule of 2-2-3, 12-hour shifts (accessible by public transportation or possibility to park near the plant, no fees);
• Good knowledge of the Office suite.
