As the primary HR partner for our Quebec operations, you'll support leaders and employees across the province while serving as the local HR expert. You'll also collaborate closely with the broader HR team on company-wide initiatives and provide support on national projects and priorities as our business continues to grow.

- Analyzing HR indicators and trends to identify improvement opportunities and provide recommendations to business leaders.
- Assisting the Vice President, Human Resources, with merger and acquisition projects, including due diligence, change management, policy alignment, and organizational transition support.
- Collaborating with the Vice President, Human Resources, and business leaders on national HR initiatives, process improvements, workforce planning, and organizational projects contributing to O'Dell's continuous growth across Canada.
- Building trust and rapport with managers and employees while fostering a positive and motivating work culture.
- Supporting talent development, succession planning, leadership development, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Coaching managers to enhance their leadership skills, improve performance conversations, and build high-performing teams.
- Identifying and evolving HR policies, programs, processes, and practices as the company grows.
- Performing other HR-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience in a generalist or HR management role.
- CRHA designation (or eligibility to obtain) is considered an asset. Equivalent HR designations from other Canadian provinces will also be considered.
- Bilingual French-English proficiency is required, as this role will also provide support to employees across all regions where the company operates in Canada.
- Experience with HR information systems (HRIS).
- Strong knowledge of Quebec labor legislation and best HR practices.
- Experience in managing employee relations and return-to-work cases, including complex situations.
- Ability to work within a remote team while being self-sufficient in managing Quebec-based cases.

- Excellent coaching and relationship-building skills with managers at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and growing environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- High professionalism, good judgment, and discretion.
