This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road, working alone, and providing excellent customer service. As a Class 5 Driver, you will be the direct link between our branch team and on-site clients. Your professionalism, reliability, and commitment to safe driving help maintain and strengthen our long-term relationships with our clients.

• Deliver rental equipment safely and efficiently to client construction sites
• Securely load, unload, and tie down all equipment and products following safety standards and best practices
• Provide excellent customer service while representing the company's professionalism on construction sites
• Maintain excellent communication with the shipping service regarding schedules, delivery updates, and route changes
• Accurately and diligently update the driver's logbook and necessary documents
• Inspect shipments and equipment during delivery and immediately communicate any damages or issues to the supervisor
• Prepare the next day's deliveries by fueling trucks, washing them when necessary, and pre-loading equipment
• Collaborate with the branch team to assist with daily tasks (including yard maintenance) and client needs
• Adhere to all safety protocols and environmentally responsible practices to ensure everyone's safety.

What We Are Looking For

• Delivery Experience: Experience delivering construction or landscaping equipment to sites.
• Customer Service Experience: Excellent communication skills, ability to make the client feel valued.
• Class 5 Driver's License: With a clean driving record
• Safety Commitment: Commitment to adhering to various safety protocols and environmentally responsible practices implemented by Battlefield.
• Experience securely and efficiently tying down a variety of equipment
• Team Spirit: Ability to work effectively as a team.
• Self-sufficient with good time management and planning skills.
• Construction Knowledge: Familiarity with construction products and equipment
• Endurance: Ability to regularly lift equipment up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Knowledge of TRAC operations and Systematics systems, an asset
• Technical understanding of CAT equipment, an asset.
