Duties

• Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and care
• Maintain strict sanitation standards by properly disinfecting tools and workstations to ensure client safety
• Provide personalized consultations to recommend nail treatments and products that meet individual needs
• Upsell retail products like nail polishes, treatments, and skincare items to enhance client satisfaction and boost sales
• Deliver outstanding customer service by creating a friendly, professional atmosphere that encourages repeat visits
• Assist with body waxing services when qualified, expanding service offerings for clients seeking full beauty solutions

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of nail care services, including:
• Manicures
• Pedicures
• Gel nails
• Acrylic nails
• Nail art
• Strictly adhere to sanitation and hygiene standards by cleaning and sterilizing tools and workstations.
• Provide personalized consultations to recommend the best nail treatments and products for each client.
• Advise and promote retail products (nail polishes, treatments, skincare, etc.) to enhance the client experience and contribute to sales.
• Provide warm, professional, and personalized customer service that fosters loyalty.
• Perform body waxing services when qualified, offering a complete range of beauty services.
• Inform clients about post-treatment care and recommend appropriate products.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Nail Technician or in a similar beauty service role, with a strong portfolio of nail work (an asset).
• Knowledge of current nail trends, techniques, and hygiene and safety standards.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to recommend products naturally and professionally.
• Experience in body waxing is an asset, but training can be provided to the right candidate.
• Experience in retail sales or customer service is also an asset for building rapport and driving product recommendations.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Nail Technician or in a similar beauty service role with a strong portfolio of nail work
• Knowledge of current nail trends, techniques, and best practices in sanitation and safety protocols
• Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with diverse clients and team members
• Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining genuine customer relationships
• Basic understanding of body waxing techniques is preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided for the right candidate
• Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is advantageous for building rapport and driving product recommendations
